29th July 1917 - 1st Batt: Batt still in the line but there was some inter- company relief. I man was killed and 6 wounded.

2nd Batt: Heavy rain so Church Parade was cancelled.

4th Batt: Church Parade at 10am then the Batt returned to Crombeke camp.

2/7th Batt: Church Parade am. 2nd Lt AR Watson and 2 other ranks joined from Reserve Base.

1/8th Batt: CO, Coy Com and Batt staff reconnoitred the ground east of the canal

2/8th Batt: Heavy thunderstorm am. A draft of 110 other ranks arrived from Base.
