Yeomen Prisoners Receiving Parcels – The relatives of the Yeomen prisoners at Afion Kara Hissar will be comforted by the news that they are receiving their parcels regularly. Letters and cards dated October and November have been received by many relatives and friends acknowledging receipt of parcels sent at various dates since June. Tpr A Clarke of Conderton near Tewkesbury, writes to Mrs K Thorpe, stating that he has had three parcels from her, one from the Worcestershire Regimental Comforts Fund and one from his mother. Tpr Fidoe, writing to his mother at the Tan House, Martley, on Nov 6, says he has received seven more parcels in good condition.
