County Councillor's Accident

Mr. A. J. Grove, a member of the Worcestershire County Council, and a large manufacturer in the Halesowen district, is lying seriously ill at his home, St. Margaret's Well, Hasbury, as the result of an accident. Mr Grove was travelling home by train from Worcester, and when he reached Hartlebury Station he alighted from the train under the impression that he had to change for Birmingham. Discovering his mistake, Mr. Grove attempted to board the train as it was moving, when he slipped and fell upon the platform, sustaining an injury to the back of his head.
