On the Home Front:

The men of the 3/7th who were left behind in Malvern on Friday, when their comrades moved off to the coast, have now departed. They marched to Great Malvern Station this morning, under orders to join the 2/7th.

A Whist Drive will take place at St. Martin’s Hall, on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 7 o’clock, in aid of the Funds for the “WORK DEPOT” of the Worcestershire Regiment, at 57, Foregate Street. Tickets 1s.6d. each, which can be obtained from Mr. Bailey, Worcestershire County Club.

Boys’ Brotherhood: Miss Rose Moore presided on Sunday, and gave an address on “Deeds which cause no regret! Deeds which cheer life’s way!” Bro. Maxwell Williams read the lesson.

Lantern Lecture: There was a large attendance at Sunday’s lantern lecture, when Miss Rose Moore gave an address on “Way of Transgressors Hard, versus Straight Course-Conscience Clear.” The lecture was illustrated by splendid pictures.

Fruit for the Navy: The Hop Pole depot for the collection of fruit and vegetables for the Navy have this week forwarded three large boxes of apples, etc., to a base. The donors were Mrs. Heygate, Miss Spencer, Mr. M.J.P. Shufflebotham, Mr. W.H. Wall, and Mr. F. Oliver. Letters of thanks have been received from the Navy for the gifts sent previously.
