The marriage has taken place at St Swithun's Church Worcester of Sergt WJ Stokes, 8th Worcestershires, only son of John Stokes of Laugherne Road and Miss Freda Lucy Price, daughter of Frederick Thomas Price of Lowesmoor. The ceremony was of a quiet character being attended only by the immediate relatives. Sergt. Stokes arrived in Worcester from the trenches on Thursday and returns to duty next Thursday. He and his wife went straight from the church to the station and caught a train for Harrogate where the brief honeymoon will be spent.
